As a municipally owned organization, we operate with integrity, transparency and a long-term focus on community well-being. Many of the operational initiatives that support our communities and the evolving energy system are delivered through GrandBridge Energy, our local electricity distribution company, and are highlighted in GrandBridge Energy’s Corporate Responsibility Report.

From modernizing electricity infrastructure and delivering conservation programs to exploring innovative grid solutions and building strong community partnerships, these efforts help ensure reliable service while supporting the communities we serve. They also contribute to cleaner and more efficient energy systems while helping meet growing energy needs.

GrandBridge Energy continues to invest in the electricity distribution system to ensure safe, reliable service while preparing the grid for future energy needs. This includes ongoing grid modernization and infrastructure upgrades, expanding system capacity to support community growth and electrification, and deploying technologies that improve grid monitoring and system resilience.

Netoptiks, a division of GrandBridge Group, is dedicated to providing reliable and high-speed telecommunications services as a tier 1 provider of fibre optic, internet and data services that support medium to large enterprises as well as government and municipal services.

Through conservation programs and customer initiatives, GrandBridge Energy helps residential and business customers better manage energy use and improve efficiency. These programs encourage the adoption of energy-efficient technologies and equipment while helping reduce peak electricity demand, improve grid stability and support environmental sustainability.

Enersure, a division of GrandBridge Group, specializes in cost-effective heating/cooling and water conditioning residential services, offering a wide variety of Energy Star qualified home comfort rentals.

GrandBridge Energy is exploring new technologies and approaches to manage electricity demand and integrate distributed energy resources. Initiatives such as GridShare, a Local Capacity Auction program, create opportunities for customers to participate in local grid events, while ongoing work supports the integration of renewable generation, battery storage and other emerging energy solutions.

We proudly support local organizations and initiatives through community investment and partnerships, including sponsorships, donations, in-kind support and academic awards. These programs help strengthen the communities we serve and support a wide range of local initiatives.

Many of these activities are delivered through GrandBridge Energy’s Corporate Giving Program, which supports more than 70 non-profit organizations across our service territory each year.

Strategic Partnerships and Innovation

GrandBridge Corporation works with industry partners to explore innovative solutions that support grid reliability, sustainability and long-term energy needs.

In 2026, GrandBridge Corporation announced a co-development agreement with PowerBank Corporation to develop and invest in solar energy and battery storage projects within GrandBridge Energy’s service territory.

These projects will help:

  • Increase local electricity generation capacity
  • Integrate renewable energy resources
  • Improve grid reliability and resilience
  • Respond to growing electricity demand driven by electrification

This partnership reflects GrandBridge Corporation’s commitment to supporting innovative solutions that contribute to a reliable, affordable and sustainable energy system.
